The Six Pillars

The MATRIS Pillars.

"When we wake up, our one and only aspiration is to honor & glorify God. If we want to sleep well on our MATRIS at night, we must Be Good Steward of our MATRIS."

Stewardship

Monies. Abilities. Time. Resources. Influence. Skills.

We believe God has entrusted each of us to steward our MATRIS — six pillars that, when stewarded well, become tools for Kingdom impact.

M

Monies

"Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the fruits of all your produce." — Proverbs 3:9

We believe that our Monies are a tool for Kingdom impact — to be invested, not buried or hoarded.

A

Abilities

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord." — Colossians 3:23

God blessed everybody with unique Abilities — natural inborn talents — and He doesn't waste what He has granted. We hone and improve them to glorify Him.

T

Time

"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." — Psalm 90:12

We honor God by structuring our Time with intention — balancing rest (such as keeping the Sabbath), discipline, and aspiration.

R

Resources

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much." — Luke 16:10

Every dollar, asset, and tool is a seed. We plant the seed in fertile ground — not rocky soil, not where the birds can snatch it away.

I

Influence

"In the same way, let your light shine before others." — Matthew 5:16

God calls us to lead by example. We use our Influence to demonstrate upright character and keep others — and ourselves — on the straight and narrow.

S

Skills

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:21

Skills — talents we do not naturally possess but can learn — are sharpened through repetition and humility. Iron sharpens iron.
